College of Education Club Students Spark Curiosity and Learning with STEM Activities for Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Idaho 

The College of Education Office of Field Experience recently hosted a STEM Day with the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Idaho at Syringa Elementary School in Pocatello. The event introduced learners to engineering concepts, fun, hands-on activities and provided service in the community in meaningful ways while connecting Idaho State University with the larger community and school district.

ISU Bookstore Faculty and Staff Appreciation Event

The ISU Bookstore will be hosting a Faculty and Staff Appreciation Event on Friday, December 12 from noon - 4 p.m. This is a great opportunity for faculty and staff to take advantage of extra discounts and light refreshments. Faculty and staff are invited to meet Bookstore Manager Justino Gomez and the rest of the bookstore team as they finalize preparations for the week of finals and the Spring 2026 semester.

Encourage Students to Present at the 2026 Research and Creative Works Symposium

Now is the time for students to be thinking about submitting research for the ISU Research and Creative Works Symposium, set for March 18, 2026. Submissions will open on January 28, 2026, with a deadline of February 25, 2026.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
