ISU Tree Lighting Ceremony Tonight
All are invited to attend the annual ISU Tree Lighting on Monday, December 6 at 7 p.m. The event will begin on the Hutchinson Quad with the lighting of the 50-feet-tall tree and an interactive ice sculpture. Holiday treats, free ornaments, and more will be available inside the Pond Student Union Building. Bring your friends and family to kick off the holiday season with this festive tradition.
Faculty and Staff Invited to Open House Dec. 7
President Kevin Satterlee invites all faculty and staff to join him at an open house to celebrate the holiday season on Tuesday, December 7, from 3-6 p.m. in the Pond Student Union Ballroom. Light food and beverages will be provided and each employee will receive a gift.

Students and Staff Honored for Performing CPR, Saving a Life
When paramedic Matt Hendricks arrived on a call to the Idaho State Student Recreation Center for a cardiac arrest patient in October, he was surprised and grateful at what he saw. Several students and staff at the Recreation Center were performing CPR, and were using the facility's AED (automated external defibrillator) to attempt to resuscitate the patient, who had collapsed moments earlier.
