ISU Civil Engineering Leading Research into Earthquake-Resistant Bridges

To the untrained eye it may not look like much, but you can see a piece of groundbreaking concrete on Interstate 15 at Exit 80 in Fort Hall thanks to the work of researchers at Idaho State University. The new interchange features a precast concrete pier supporting the 222-foot long and 88-foot wide bridge spanning the Interstate.

Doug Chambers, CEO and President of Lookout Credit Union, is the 64th Idaho Business Leader of the Year. To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
