School of Performing Arts Presents Musical Comedy “The Marvelous Wonderettes”

Idaho State University’s School of Performing Arts invites the community to enjoy the lively musical “The Marvelous Wonderettes” by Roger Bean, directed by guest artist Gregory Phelps of New York City. Performances run February 27-28 and March 5-7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Bistline Theatre at the Stephens Performing Arts Center.

ISU Hosts Visiting Writer February 23 and 24

Beth Piatote is a scholar of Native American literature and law; a multi-genre creative writer; and an Indigenous language revitalization activist, specializing in Nez Perce language and literature. During her time here, Piatote will hold a craft class in playwriting for ISU students, visit with students at Chief Tahgee Elementary Academy on Fort Hall Reservation, and give a public reading of her creative work.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
