Idaho State to Celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day

Idaho State University will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day during the Idaho State Women’s Basketball game against University of Idaho on Saturday, Jan. 28 with $5 ticket vouchers and presentation of the Trailblazer Award at halftime.

Tammie Fletcher, custodian at Idaho State University's Idaho Falls campus for 20 years, passed away Jan. 14. Tammie was an integral part of the Bengal community and will be deeply missed. A full obituary and sketch of Tammie's life is available online.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
