Physical Therapy Students Create Respite Program for Families and Individuals with Special Needs

Three students pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Idaho State University recently started FIreFlies, a respite program for families with individuals who have special needs. They are partnering with South Meridian YMCA Thrive Program to host the monthly event for families.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
