Choirs from Around the World to Perform at Idaho State University

The 2023 Idaho International Choral Festival will once again feature choirs from around the world on the ISU campus July 12-16. "We are so excited to host choirs from Catalonia (in Spain), China, Costa Rica, Poland, Uganda, San Francisco, and the USA right here in Pocatello, Idaho," said Artistic Director Dr. Scott Anderson.

Idaho State Professor Joins Editorial Board of IEEE's Internet of Things Journal

An Idaho State University Professor has been named to the editorial board of one of the top journals in the connected devices space. Recently, Mostafa Fouda, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, was named to the editorial board for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Internet of Things Journal.

Dr Jed Zirker Named Director of Dental Residency Program

The Department of Dental Sciences, Dental Residency Program and Family Dentistry clinics at Idaho State University (ISU) have a new director, as Dr. Jed Zirker takes the reins from Dr. Brian Crawford. Zirker oversees the programs at both the Pocatello and Meridian campus locations.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
