When she became the school secretary at her own high school back in 2017, Sara Duncan had no idea it would lead her to a career in education. After observing the impact teachers had on their students from behind the front desk, it didn’t take long for Duncan to decide to become a teacher herself.

Leadership Transition in Testing Services

After 15 years of dedicated service, Jamie Howerton, Director of Testing Services, has accepted a new position with the Albion Center. Beginning July 21, Tawna Brockett will assume the position of Director of Testing Services.

Summer Nights with the Graduate School

All are invited to the July Summer Nights with the Graduate School event at the Live United Concert Series in Idaho Falls. Join us on Thursday, July 31 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at The Waterfront at Snake River Landing. Graduate students, faculty, and their community guests enjoy a free food voucher on us. To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
