ISU College of Education Extends Paraprofessional to Certified Teacher (PaCT) Program Across Idaho

After a successful first year, an Idaho State University program designed to help education paraprofessionals become certified teachers is expanding to include paraprofessionals throughout East Idaho. The Paraprofessional to Certified Teacher (PaCT) program began in 2022 with a cohort of 25 paraprofessionals from Pocatello School District 25.

ISU College of Business Students and Faculty Co-Author Paper Presented in Italy

The paper, entitled “Finding a Close Confidant in a Bad Workplace,” takes its inspiration from the observation that soldiers who go to war together often form extraordinarily close friendships that persist for life. The authors wondered whether a similar principle might apply in the workplace.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
