ISU Pole Vaulter Named Wilma Rudolph Student-Athlete Achievement Award Winner

Idaho State pole vaulter Ekhardt Van Der Watt has been named a recipient of a 2023 Wilma Rudolph Student-Athlete Achievement Award announced by the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) this week at the national convention in Orlando, Florida. The N4A Wilma Rudolph Student-Athlete Achievement Award honors student-athletes who have overcome great personal, academic, and/or emotional odds to achieve academic success while participating in intercollegiate athletics.

Through collaboration with Facilities Services, the GIS Training and Research Center, and Public Safety, a new printable campus map is now available. Please use legal size (8.5 x 14 paper and print front and back for the best results. Printed maps are also available through the Parking Office in the Public Safety & Transportation Services building, #27 on the Pocatello campus.

Idaho State Today is a twice-weekly employee newsletter that shares University successes, campus updates, and recognizes faculty and staff accomplishments. All past editions of the newsletter are archived online.


To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
