Physics Department to Host Annual Free Water Rocket Festival

Water-powered rockets will be taking flight in Pocatello this weekend. Saturday and Sunday, June 28 and 29, from 10 a.m. to noon, Idaho State University’s Department of Physics will host their Water Rocket Festival at Tydeman Park, N. 8th Avenue and E. Young Street. Each day, the first 100 youth, ages 16-years-old and younger will receive the materials needed to build a water rocket.

Summer Institute for Piano and Strings Faculty and Staff Concert June 24

The Summer Institute for Piano and Strings camp will be held the week of June 23rd. Students and faculty will perform three concerts, with the main attraction of the week being the Faculty and Staff Concert on Tuesday, June 24 at 7:30 p.m.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
