ISU Student Wins Constituting America Short Film Contest

An Idaho State University graduate student was recently selected as Constituting America’s Graduate Student Short Film Winner in the “We the Future'' contest. Steph Jackman, who is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Instructional Design and Technology (IDT), EdD degree, used the multimedia skills she learned in her doctorate program to create the 6-minute video titled “A Minuteman’s Minute (or Five) of History: The U.S Constitution and Its Relevance Today.”

Choirs from Around the World to Perform at ISU

The 2023 Idaho International Choral Festival will once again feature choirs from around the world on the ISU campus July 12-16. "We are so excited to host choirs from Catalonia (in Spain), China, Costa Rica, Poland, Uganda, San Francisco, and the USA right here in Pocatello, Idaho," said Artistic Director Dr. Scott Anderson.

Provost Update

For personal reasons, Provost Valerie Martin Conley has decided to step down as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and will be leaving Idaho State University at the end of this month. During her time as Provost, Dr. Conley demonstrated her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and built strong relationships with faculty and the faculty senate.
