Ed Isla Named CPI Supervisor of the Semester

The Career Path Internship program (CPI) has named Ed Isla the Spring 2023 CPI Supervisor of the Semester. Isla is an Architectural Drafter for Facilities Services at Idaho State University. 

“The best part about being a CPI supervisor is the satisfaction of passing my knowledge and experience on to someone who is willing to learn,” Isla said. “(The internships) allow students to gain the confidence they want and need in their first actual position after graduation.”

Idaho State University Mourns the Loss of Tania Gay Harden

Dr. Tania Gay Crohn Harden passed away surrounded by those she loved on May 26, 2023, at home in Pocatello, Idaho, after a girl’s night of massages, mani-pedis, laughter, and love concluding a fierce multi-year battle with cancer. Harden was a digital and instructional librarian at Idaho State.

New College of Technology Dean Announced

Gerald (Jerry) Anhorn has been appointed Dean of the College of Technology. Anhorn, who is currently serving as Dean of Workforce Transfer and Trades at Walla Walla Community College, brings a wealth of experience to this role. He will begin his new role at Idaho State University in August. Prior to serving in his current role at Walla Walla Community College (WWCC), Anhorn served as Director of the Water and Environmental Center and Instructor of Water Management, Irrigation and Civil Engineering.
