Bengal Giving Day Honors Faculty and Staff

This March 10–11, Idaho State University will host its annual Bengal Giving Day, a 1,901-minute celebration of generosity and community. While the event is widely known as a university-wide fundraising initiative, it’s also a day to recognize the faculty, staff, and administrators whose dedication has shaped the university and student success over the decades. Bengal Giving Day isn’t just for donors. There are multiple ways to engage, celebrate, and have fun with students and colleagues:

Annual Required Trainings 2026

Each year, the State of Idaho requires annual training for all state employees to ensure our workforce remains secure, respectful, and compliant with statewide policy. This message provides important information about the 2026 Required Annual Trainings and your completion requirements.All Idaho State University employees are required to complete the 2026 Required Annual Training in the Talent Management System (TMS), with a completion window of March 1 - March 31.

Years of Service Awards 2026

As we approach the time of year when we recognize employees for their dedication and years of service, we kindly ask that you review the Years of Service list to confirm that your recognition year is accurate. If you notice any discrepancies, please contact Human Resources so your records can be reviewed and updated as needed. To be eligible for this year’s recognition, your anniversary date must fall on or before July 1, 2026. Employees with anniversary dates after July 1, 2026 will be included in next year’s recognition program.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
