Two Honorary Doctorates to Be Awarded at Spring Commencement Ceremonies

Two community leaders will receive honorary degrees at spring commencement ceremonies May 10. Graduates will walk across the stage in two Pocatello ceremonies, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the ICCU Dome. Tickets are not required.

Public Safety to Offer Trainings

The Department of Public Safety is offering several safety-related training sessions throughout May and June. Opportunities include both in-person training on the Pocatello campus and virtual training sessions. These trainings help employees navigate critical emergencies where a calm and timely response is crucial to protecting our campus community.

The Career Path Internship program will celebrate its 15th anniversary in the fall of 2025. We plan to highlight student success stories and showcase all of the ways the program has benefited students, the university, and multiple communities around the state. To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
