Idaho State University Continues to Make Over 450 Classrooms ROAR

Over 450 P-12 teachers, coaches, support staff, principals, and superintendents across Idaho have added black and orange to their classrooms and spaces thanks to the Make Your Classroom ROAR campaign. Sponsored by the Idaho State University College of Education and ISU Alumni Association, Make Your Classroom ROAR started in the fall 2022 semester with the goal of sharing Bengal pride with educators and students in and outside of Idaho.

ISU Student to Compete at National Fencing Tournament

Idaho State University Sport Management student, Lucy Garcia Torres, had always dreamed of learning swordwork after seeing her favorite actors in movies or reading about characters in books. In the Fall 2022 semester, Garcia Torres finally had the courage to enroll in an ISU novice fencing class where she brought her dream to a reality.

2023 Employee Engagement Survey Results

Last fall, an employee engagement survey was sent to all faculty, staff, graduate assistants, and student employees. This survey was developed to identify barriers to engagement, gather feedback from employees related to specific topics, and further our ability to leverage our University’s strengths.

Idaho State Today is a twice-weekly employee newsletter that shares University successes, campus updates, and recognizes faculty and staff accomplishments. All past editions of the newsletter are archived online.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
