Natalie Moerer Honored with College of Education Outstanding Cooperating Teacher Award

Idaho State University’s Department of Teaching and Educational Studies recently awarded the Spring Outstanding Cooperating Teacher award to Natalie Moerer at a surprise assembly at Hansen Elementary School. Representatives from the College of Education — including Interim Dean Esther Ntuli, Amanda Eller, chair of the Department of Teaching and Educational Studies; Kaywin Cottle, clinical instructor; and Mona Heern, director of clinical experiences — attended the assembly to present the award.

ISU Mourns the Loss of Faculty Member Brian Williams

Brian Gordon Williams, a well-loved Emeritus Professor of Mechanical Engineering, passed away May 19, 2025 at the University of Utah hospital after battling complex health issues for 12 years. Funeral services are May 24, noon, at the Sheppard Ward building, 775 Hawthorne Road, Chubbuck, Idaho. The viewing begins at 10:30 a.m.

Water Shut-Off to Impact Pocatello Campus

On Wednesday May 28, the water will be shut off all day in the Student Recreation Center, South Complex, Rendezvous, and the Red Hill building. This shut-off is essential to repair a water meter that affects each of these buildings. While we do not anticipate other areas being impacted, there is always a possibility of a broader impact. Please plan accordingly, and thank you for accommodating.
