During this time of remote work situations and a gradual return to on-campus operations, Idaho State University will continue the longstanding tradition of summer hours for employees. To support employees in fully enjoying the summer season, the University’s administrative office hours will shift to Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break, beginning on Monday, May 11. Idaho State University physics major Emily Oliphant, 20, who has completed her undergraduate this spring in three years, has received a three-year National Science Foundation Science Graduate Research Fellowship Program to pursue a doctoral degree at the University of Michigan.
“I am absolutely excited about it,” said Oliphant. "It will give me the opportunity to do the research I want regardless of what the professor has a research grant for, which is really convenient so I can be a little bit more risky or explorative.” Read More
