More than 2,000 Honored at 2023 Spring Commencement Ceremonies

Idaho State University President Kevin Satterlee congratulated graduates at Saturday's commencement ceremonies, praising them for their grit and determination. “We are proud of you. you represent our success stories. We believe in education here, but while we believe in it, you, in fact, are living proof of that belief,” he said.

More Than 1,800 Attend Bengal Visit Day

Bengal Visit Day 2023 was the largest recruitment event held on Idaho State University’s campus, with more than 1,800 attendees. Bengal Visit Day, ISU’s main spring recruitment event, is designed to capture the attention of potential students interested in finding the college that is right for them and for their aspirations.

Alumna Mal Layne Takes 4th Place in International Trombone Competition

Idaho State University alumna Mal Layne recently competed against hundreds of individuals in the Michel Becquet International Trombone Competition in Luxembourg. Layne, the only American to make it to the semi-finals, took 4th place in the world.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
