Presidential Pop-Ups in November

President Wagner is excited to continue his Bold Path Forward initiative with a series of Presidential Pop-Ups across campus. As part of this initiative, each unit and college will be invited to an informal social hour as an opportunity to connect with colleagues and get to know President Wagner in a more relaxed setting. The next Presidential Pop-Ups are scheduled for central Academic Affairs, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. in the Little Wood Room; and the College of Education, Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. in COE Room #243. Posit Software Engineer Michael Chow to Present Public Talk on AI and Data Science

Idaho State University College of Arts and Letters will host Michael Chow, Principal Software Engineer at Posit (formerly RStudio), for a public talk titled “Working with Data in the Age of AI” on Monday, November 17 from 3–4 p.m. in the Rendezvous ABC Suites. The event is free and open to faculty, staff, students, and members of the community. Chow’s talk will explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping the way data professionals work, highlighting both the promise and limitations of current AI technologies.
