Celebrate Reed Gym Pool Reopening November 20

Renovations on the pool began in March 2024, after Idaho State received funding from the Idaho Department of Public Works Deferred Maintenance fund for needed repairs. Staff are currently being trained, and the pool will be open to the public in a limited capacity beginning in early December, with a full opening beginning in January 2025.

College of Business to Receive Transformative Gift to Support Six New Endowed Professorships

A donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, has given permission for the College of Business to announce a planned gift. This generous gift will result in the creation of six endowed professorships within the College, which doubles the current number of endowed professorships in the College and at the University.

College of Technology Receives $200,000 Grant for Energy Efficiency Workforce Training

An almost $200,000 grant will soon help boost the development of a skilled workforce in Idaho dedicated to clean energy and carbon reduction. The Clean Energy and Manufacturing Workforce Training and Technical Assistance Award was provided by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and managed through EnergyWerx.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
