Ticket Sales Begin Friday for Festival of Trees

The annual Festival of Trees event will be held November 16-19 in Idaho State University’s Stephens Performing Arts Center. Tickets will go on sale Friday, October 14, and admission is $5 for general admission events. This year's Festival of Trees is being hosted by the ISU College of Business. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Pocatello-Chubbuck School District, Idaho State student scholarships, the Boys and Girls Club of Portneuf Valley, and Make-A-Wish Idaho.

Inaugural Dolsen Visiting Writer to Hold Poetry Reading

Idaho State University's Department of English and Philosophy is pleased to announce that Matthew James Babcock will visit ISU as the inaugural Dolsen Visiting Writer on Oct.19 at 5 p.m. in The Bengal Café (Pond Student Union Building). Babcock will give a reading from his most recent book, Hidden Motion  (Finishing Line Press, 2022), followed by a Q&A session. The reading is free and the public is encouraged to attend.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
