Geology Field Camp 2025: Celebrating 60 Years of Progress

Throughout the summer, five ISU undergraduate students majoring in geology joined peers from universities and colleges across the country to explore several regions of the gem state from the base camp near Mackay, Idaho. The geological mapping area north of Mackay is unique due to the formation and existence of so many types of rocks. Students are trained to understand what to look for, how to look at it, how and why to take quantitative measurements to add to a map.

Dunk the President while Supporting Benny’s Pantry!

Join us on Saturday, October 4, for the President’s Alumni and Bengal Tailgate for a fun opportunity to support our Bengal community. From 4 – 5:15 p.m., President Wagner will be braving the dunk tank! To take a shot, simply bring non-perishable food or hygiene items to donate to Benny’s Pantry.

An ISU research team recently presented findings from the Running on Empty Study at the National Association of Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA) Conference in Denver, CO. This study examines the issue of food insecurity among collegiate student-athletes.
