After more than five years of absence from Idaho State University, the Red Hill “I” icon has returned to campus. The Bengal community will celebrate its return at 4 p.m. on Oct. 10 on the Hutchinson Quadrangle.The public is invited to join in the celebration, which will feature brief remarks and refreshments.

Imagine a time when a consumer could take out their cell phone, which is now equipped with a small spectrometer, and first stopping to fuel their car, could zap the gas to check its octane content to make sure they’re getting what their paying for. Then, while shopping, the consumer could use their phone’s spectrometer to check the sugar content of apples before buying them.

Idaho State University’s Homecoming 2019 will celebrate a variety of Alumni Association and Associated Students of ISU Student Activities Board events Oct. 5-12, culminating with the Homecoming Parade at 9 a.m. and football game at 1:05 p.m. in Holt Arena on Saturday, Oct. 12 .
