Idaho State University to Celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day 2025: “Indigenous Joy – Celebrating Strength & Resilience”

Idaho State University will host its annual Indigenous Peoples’ Day Celebration on Monday, October 13, honoring the diverse Indigenous cultures, histories, and contributions of peoples from across the globe. This year’s theme, “Indigenous Joy: Celebrating Strength & Resilience,” recognizes the shared spirit of endurance, creativity, and cultural pride that connects Indigenous communities everywhere.

Steam Delivery to Pocatello Campus Buildings

As weather temperatures dip, ISU Facilities is finalizing work to ensure the comfort of those who study and work at all campus locations. In Pocatello, steam will be deployed to campus Monday, October 13 to start the heating season. Please allow 2-3 days for steam to flow throughout all campus buildings and for heating to be operational at all buildings. Thank you for your patience through this process.

October's Impactful Research and Teaching Highlights

Idaho State Among First Institutions to Receive NSF EPSCoR Graduate Fellowship Program Grant

Idaho State University was named one of the first recipients of a grant through the National Science Foundation’s Estab­lished Program to Stim­u­late Com­pet­i­tive Research (EPSCoR) Graduate Fellowship Program. The $954,000 grant will support the work of six graduate students at Idaho State and the Idaho Student Excellence in Education and Research (I-SEER) project.
