TODAY: Welcome Back Open House with President Wagner

As Idaho State University celebrates the start of a new academic year, President Wagner invites all faculty and staff to a welcome back open house on Tuesday, September 2 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the University House, 341 S. 7th Ave.


Celebrating 125 Years as an Institution of Higher Learning

Idaho State University will achieve an impressive milestone in 2026 - 125 years as an institution of higher learning. The 125th Anniversary planning committee is developing events and initiatives to commemorate the anniversary and is seeking information related to ISU’s long and successful history. Information will soon be shared about how all members of our campus communities can join in celebrating this significant historical year.

Budget Town Hall Set September 11

Please join President Wagner and CFO Jen Steele for an important budget update on Zoom. Topics will include an update on the FY2026 budget, the recently-announced 3% holdback in state appropriations, and budget strategies moving forward.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
