ISU Receives $1.2 Million Grant for STEM Teacher Scholarships

A first-of-its-kind project for Idaho State University is set to tackle the growing shortage of science and mathematics teachers in Idaho by providing full tuition and cost-of-living scholarships to 16 eligible students. Idaho State University has secured a five-year, $1.2 million grant from the National Science Foundation’s Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
