Volcano vs. Wind: ISU Geologists Reveal Interaction Between Natural Phenomena

Research by geologists at Idaho State University is yielding new insights into the interplay between two of nature’s strongest forces: volcanoes and wind. Using state-of-the-art computer modeling, the scientists sought to determine how wind affects volcanic plumes–the mix of rock, ash, and gases ejected into the atmosphere–during an eruption.

ISU To Present: The Imaginary Invalid

Idaho State University proudly presents "The Imaginary Invalid," an uproariously comedic adaptation of Molière’s classic of the same name, brought to life by Oded Gross and Tracy Young. 

The play, set to be performed at the Black Box Theatre at Stephens Performing Arts Center, promises an evening of laughter and entertainment for patrons.

NWCCU Accreditation Mid-Cycle Review Town Hall

On Tuesday, October 1 from 3-4 p.m., alll are invited to a Town Hall update related to the NWCCU Mid-Cycle Report and campus visit. Members of the accreditation team and Academic Affairs will be present and can answer any questions you may have. We are looking forward to seeing you if your schedule allows. To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
