MESSAGE FROM MAYOR KLING
The 2022 Idaho Legislative session has begun and I wanted to take a moment to thank each of our legislators for their work. Nampa is truly blessed to have the legislators we have.

During the session, we will be tracking legislation that may impact the City of Nampa. We are extremely thankful for our Chief of Staff, Rick Hogaboam, who is actively following proposed legislation and agendas. We are also thankful to have two interns from Northwest Nazarene University, Tanner Rainey and Joseph Fruehauf, both of whom are studying political science and assisting Rick during the session.

We have listed several helpful links below. Every citizen is encouraged to learn more about the legislative session and those who are representing you.
-Mayor Debbie Kling

The Idaho Association of Counties and the Associated Taxpayers of Idaho have published a video to help citizens understand Idaho's property taxes.

We encourage you to take a few moments to watch this informative video.

March 9, 2022 (Wednesday)
The Nampa Chamber of Commerce invites the community to celebrate the 8th annual AG Forum on Tues., February 15 from 11am-1pm at the Ford Idaho Center.

The AG Forum connects the agriculture industry and local businesses while raising the awareness that agriculture and food processing are the backbones of Southern Idaho's economy.
The American Red Cross is facing a national blood crisis – its worst blood shortage in over a decade, posing a concerning risk to patient care. Blood product distributions are outpacing donations. At times, as much as one-quarter of hospital blood needs are not being met.

In recent weeks, the Red Cross has had less than a 1-day supply of critical blood types. That's why your help is so vitally important.

Use the Blood Donor App, visit RedCrossBlood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to schedule your blood or platelet donation appointment.

Looking for some extra cash, don't forget BioLIfe Plasma Service in Nampa has a compensation program.
