I.D.E.A.S.
(Innovation, Design, Education, and Support)

January 2015

Our manufacturers launch new products often. Once a month we will highlight a few and include any updates that we would like you to see. "I.D.E.A.S." is a good way to describe what our agency offers. Here's this month's featured list.
CONGRATULATIONS ACUITY BRANDS CONTROLS!

Acuity Brands received the Lux Award of the Year in the controls innovation category. The visible light communication in their eldoLED drivers was designated as one of the most exciting innovations of 2014 by Lux Magazine.

We want the design community to learn more about the importance of controls and how this can improve your lighting projects. We'll have training sessions in place beginning January 28th. Please contact us if your team would like to participate.

FROM SELUX

Selux's M-Series is a linear family with 4 profile sizes (M36, M60, M100, & M125). They can be pendant, surface, recessed with flange, or recessed trimless. With an intelligent modular system in place, these fixtures can achieve a variety of design patterns arranged horizontally or vertically. The corners remain lit to add high uniformity. With lighting controls, and a proprietary LED optical system, it's no wonder this series won a Next Generation Luminaire and an Architectural Product Innovation award.

Dart has a petite, thin profile that blends well with its surroundings. It has 90% indirect illumination with features to enhance visual comfort. Dart utilizes Gradient Optic technology with a saw tooth reflector that diffuses the edges of light to eliminate harsh lines. A beam diffuser can also be added to smooth and soften the light. Mounting options include linear suspended or asymmetric wall mount.

FROM KENALL

Surgical environments have strict visual requirements. The M4 series is specifically designed for this type of application with a green option. These LEDs radiate a deeply saturated green light that eliminates the need for additional filters. The level of illumination is low, but the visual acuity is high. There is also a diffused lens that reduces any glare. This highly efficient fixture can improve clinical outcomes, all while keeping operating costs low.
