When I tell my friends I have to spend time in Las Vegas for a trade show every year, the reaction is typically a sarcastic, "yeah, you have to go, must be terrible for you".  The truth is while I love the weather there in October, and there are some great restaurants, the whole "what happens in Vegas..." thing isn't really my speed. I'd just as soon be here doing work and enjoying things locally.

That being said, what brings me back to the International Fastener Expo (RIP - National Industrial Fastener Show) every year, is the chance to spend time with principals and fellow sales representatives, and to see customers in a more relaxed atmosphere. Its the ability to meet new people and reconnect with industry friends that makes the time and expense worth while.

This year's show is Wednesday October 31st and Thursday November 1st. Three of our principals are exhibiting this year- see below for more details.

If you are coming, please stop by and say hello.

Safe travels everyone.

Nylok - Booth 3534
The oldest and largest fully dedicated processor of self locking products in the world, Nylok has been helping to solve customer's fastener issues for the last 75 years. Stop by booth 3534 to learn about their existing products, and find out more about their exciting new development in protecting aginst galvanic corrosion.

Rotor Clip - Booth 3423
A multi-year winner of the IFE's "best booth" award, the fun with Rotor Clip each year is seeing what theme they will come up with next. The largest producer of retaining rings, constant section rings, multi-turn rings, and wave springs in the United States, Rotor Clip has expanded production to Europe and has distribution centers in Europe and Asia. Stop by the booth to talk about business, get application help, or just say hello.

Unicorp - Booth 3558
null
While other companies may trick up their displays this year to tie into the show being held over Halloween, Unicorp's Frankenstein's monster backdrop has a been a crowd favorite for the last few years. Unicorp is a manufacturer of spacers, standoffs, handles and other electronic hardware. Their in-house plating department gives Unicorp flexibility that competitors don't have, and their willingness to stock product for future release is impressive. Come see Steve, Chris & George and learn more about "the oddball kings".
