ODP Players and Parents,

We are excited to kick off the first ODP trainings this weekend! Please review the information below for information regarding facility entry/exits, spectator guidelines and COVID protocols. If you missed the webinar this past Sunday, the recording can be found below.

Reminder that ALL PLAYERS need to check in with the on-site staff member before they get on the field. Staff will be waiting at the entrance to guide the players at each facility.

COVID PROTOCOLS

We will continue to follow the Illinois Department of Health All Sports Policy which states:

For sports played indoors, individuals aged 2 years and older who can medically tolerate a mask, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask and maintain physical distancing to the extent possible.

All spectators, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask in attendance at indoor youth sports events, including in a public or nonpublic pre-K-12 school setting.

WHAT TO BRING TO TRAINING

All players should bring the following:
  • Water bottle
  • Mask
  • Cleats or Indoor shoes (both permitted at each facility)
  • Soccer ball
  • ODP Uniform (if arrived)
  • Shin Guards

NO UNIFORM? NO PROBLEM? If your uniform does not arrive in time for the first training, please wear the following:
  • Field Players - Blue Shirt/Jersey & White Shirt/Jersey
  • Goalkeepers - Black Shirt/Jersey
  • Shorts & socks any color
ODP Entry / Exits

Each facility will require different entry / exit points in order to not overlap with incoming groups. Players will only be allowed in 15 minutes before the start of their training session.

Spectators will only be allowed in after the players are on the field for their training session. There will be a brief (5-10 minute) Parent Huddle with the age group coach at the start of the training session.

ODP - Rockford
All players will enter through the main entrance of the facility and exit through the doors near the field entrance. Players will check in with staff member prior to entering the field. Click Here for map.

The Parent Huddle will be done near the field entry doors at the middle of the field.

ODP - Schaumburg
All players will come in through the main entrance of the facility. A staff member will direct the players to check-in once they enter the facility. Players will the leave the field on the southeast side of the field. Click Here for map.

The Parent Huddle will be done in the bleacher seating area.
ODP EXPLAINED: STAFFING

ODP is proud to staff some of the most qualified coaches in the state and country. Some staff excelled as ODP players and are now involved in coaching ODP. College and professional playing experience is common amongst the staff.

ODP staff coaches stay up to date in the latest coaching developments by continuing education and being involved in webinars and attending seminars.
