Women to Women Spring Forum
The Women to Women Giving Circle will hold its Spring Forum on Early Childhood Education and Intervention on May 1 at the ISU Alumni Center in Normal.

The event, from 4:30-6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, will begin with a review of research done by Illinois State University students Lauren Neitzel and Aly Frantzen. A panel of local school district officials and social services experts will then discuss what early intervention means to them and why it is important to our community. An audience participation question-and-answer session will follow.

Women to Women has chosen Early Childhood Education and Intervention as the focus of its next grant cycle and this forum serves to further educate members on the importance of funding programs serving this population and their support groups.

For more information on the Spring Forum, contact IPCF at 309-662-4477.

Are You 70½? Do You Have an IRA?
Did you know that you could reduce your taxable income by donating your required minimum distribution (RMD)
to  a qualified charity?

Requirements:
  • Only applies to IRA owners after they are 70½
  • Does not apply to distributions from employer plans
  • Only applies to direct transfers to qualified charities (NOT private grant-making foundations, donor advised funds or charitable gift annuities).
Community Foundations are public charitable foundations and, as thus, are eligible to receive RMD donations into any endowment, fiscal sponsorship or field of interest fund. Contact your financial planner for details on how to take advantage of this opportunity.
