Some lighting fixtures demand attention. Shapes does something far more interesting — it earns it quietly.

Designed by Jordi Pla for Estiluz, Shapes is an architectural wall light conceived around a deceptively simple idea: that a light fixture should feel less like something added to a space and more like something that naturally belongs to it. The result is a piece that emerges from the wall almost organically, integrating into its surroundings rather than competing with them.

At the heart of the design are two metal screens that wrap around the light source, projecting illumination indirectly into the room. The effect is exactly what great ambient lighting should be — soft, balanced, and inviting. No glare. No harshness. Just light that diffuses harmoniously into the environment and makes a space feel genuinely comfortable.

What sets Shapes apart, though, is the tension it holds so effortlessly between opposites.

It is asymmetrical, yet visually harmonious. It is distinctive, yet never disruptive. That lateral asymmetry creates a quiet dynamism — a sense of movement and interest — without unsettling the aesthetic balance of the space around it. Installed vertically, horizontally, or in combined configurations, multiple Shapes fixtures can create compelling visual figures across a wall, giving designers a genuinely expressive tool.

There's a practical dimension as well. The front screen can incorporate signage, making Shapes an elegant solution for wayfinding in commercial environments — functionality and beauty occupying the same form without compromise.

For residential and commercial projects alike, Shapes adapts. It performs. And it does so without ever raising its voice.

Arizona Lighting Sales brings Estiluz to our clients because we believe lighting should be as thoughtfully designed as the spaces it lives in. Shapes is a perfect example of exactly that.

When it comes to step lighting, performance and ease of installation shouldn't be a compromise — and FC Lighting's new FCSL1100 World Class Series makes sure they don't have to be.

Arizona Lighting Sales is excited to spotlight this next-generation step light line, built around a marine-grade, heavy-walled, die-cast aluminum housing with 316 stainless steel exterior hardware — including tamper-proof screws for added security in public and commercial applications.

Installation is where the FCSL1100 really stands out. A universal polycarbonate back box with snap-fit design makes the process straightforward across multiple substrates, while a snap-in screwless faceplate keeps the finished look clean. Five distinct faceplate designs are available in a variety of colors and finishes, giving designers real flexibility to complement the surrounding architecture.

An optimized LED and driver pairing ensures long-term efficiency, and Tri-Dim capability — supporting 0-10V 1%, TRIAC, and ELV dimming — provides versatile control options. The whole package is backed by a 10-year limited warranty.

For projects where step lighting needs to work hard and look sharp, the FCSL1100 is a spec worth making.
