Hello Imagine Families, The 2022 Florida State Assessment (FSA) season is upon us. Mr. Tony Graham has provided the schedule for this year, and you may access it here. Please contact Mr. Graham at Tony.graham@imagineschools.org if you have questions about testing. In preparation for the FSA exams, ISNP is providing before and after school camps for ALL students. The purpose of these camps is to offer a review of this year's material and to provide test taking strategies. FSA Writing Camps have begun for students in grades 6-10. Information was sent home the week of March 7. Geometry and Algebra I camps are also underway. The times and dates can be found in the Mark Your Calendar section of each weekly newsletter. Additionally, parents of students who scored a 2 or below on previous FSA exams will receive letters from our guidance department. We strongly encourage you to have your student(s) take advantage of these opportunities.   Seniors, another scholarship is now available! It is the Dr. Carlo Rodriquez Scholarship and is being offered only to seniors of charter schools. You can access the guidelines of this scholarship here, and the application can be found here. Unsung Heroes!

February was Black History Month and Mrs. Edukonis' 7th grade Advanced US History students took time to research an unsung African-American hero. Students selected individuals who are not often recognized for their contributions to US history and culture. Subjects ranged from politicians and inventors to athletes and entertainers. Final projects have been displayed as a gallery walk in the 400 building so other students can learn from the exhibit. Good work 7th graders!

Thank you to everyone who has donated to the Paws for Pets Drive thus far. Students of Mrs. Bratt's Gifted Advisory Class are shown here displaying what they collected during week 2 of the drive. This round of donations will benefit the Englewood Animal Rescue Sanctuary (EARS). The drive runs through March 31st, so please continue to bring your donations! Thank you!

SEE SOMETHING SUSPICIOUS? REPORT IT! Fortify FL is an anonymous tip hotline, and ISNP has installed access to it on every school-issued Chromebook. An app is also available for downloading to your mobile device. This is a valuable resource and is in place to address real issues of danger or threat to an individual or to the school as a whole. Please recognize it as such, respect its purpose, and do not abuse it by making false claims or reports.  

UPDATED March 2022 Protocols for Students and Staff with Exposure to COVID-19 Students and Employees who do not test positive for COVID-19 or develop symptoms are NOT required to quarantine, however: Parents or legal guardians of students who are known to have been in direct contact with an individual who received a positive diagnostic test for COVID-19 may choose one of the following options: Allow their student to attend school, school-sponsored activities, or be on school property, without restrictions or disparate treatment, so long as the student remains asymptomatic; or Quarantine the student for a period of time not to exceed five days from the date of last direct contact with an individual that is positive for COVID-19. You may access the ISNP COVID-19 Dashboard HERE, and an updated infographic is attached below that provides quick reference to the latest guidance on quarantining.
