Hello Imagine Families,
The end of the second grading period is only three school days away! Students will be completing midterms this week, finishing up projects and wrapping up everything to close out the semester prior to leaving for Winter Break. Please support your student in finishing strong by encouraging him or her to thoroughly prepare for exams and to complete all their work.
The above photo was taken at the ISNP Winter Concert and Food Drive that was held in the Shark Tank last Tuesday. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make it a great success! Continue reading to learn more details about the concert and other events that took place last week and what is on the calendar for this week.
Enjoy your weekend!

November 2021 Student Spotlight
|
|
Each month, teachers select two students at each grade level who display great character. On Tuesday, December 14, these students were recognized for exemplifying the character trait of fairness. At ISNP, fairness includes abiding by the rules, being open minded, listening to others, not blaming or taking advantage of others, and treating everyone fairly.
Congratulations to these students for being selected as the November Student Spotlight winners: (left to right) McKayla Shaffer, Christopher Watson, Jahyel Smith, Aliya Kanteh, D.J. Mull, Neftalie Cajuste, Lyndsey Alexis, Gavin Holtz, Vic Nguyen, Sarah Geary, Janelle Delices, and Adriana Ciaccia. Haden Barnes and Adam Roser were also selected but were unavailable for the group photo.
We are proud of these students for the positive example they set for their peers! Congratulations and keep up the good work!

On Tuesday, December 14, ISNP held the 2021 Winter Concert and Food Drive showcasing the talents of our Band and Choir students and collecting food items for the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition. ISNP musicians played to a packed house (standing room only), and attendees donated over 350 food items.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support our music students, and thank you for helping ISNP do its part in supporting the needs of others in our community! Go Shark Family!

Thank You Bocca Lupo for Supporting
ISNP Music!
|
|
On November 30, Bocca Lupo hosted Pizza For A Cause Night for ISNP Music, and raised $1,476 at the North Port, Venice, and Port Charlotte locations! We are greatly appreciative of their support, and we thank all of our ISNP families who attended and supported us! Above, the Bocca Lupo mascot presents the check to ISNP Music Director Ms. Phoebe Walden.

On Friday, December 17, forty-eight ISNP Young Marines assisted with Wreaths Across America at the Sarasota National Cemetery. Young Marines helped by removing wreaths from boxes, preparing them for placement, handing them to families, and placing them throughout the cemetery.

Current Protocols for Students with Exposure to COVID-19
- Parents or legal guardians of students who are known to have been in direct contact with an individual who received a positive diagnostic test for COVID-19 may choose one of the following options:
-
Allow their student to attend school, school-sponsored activities, or be on school property, without restrictions or disparate treatment, so long as the student remains asymptomatic; or
-
Quarantine the student for a period of time not to exceed seven days from the date of last direct contact with an individual that is positive for COVID-19.
You may access the ISNP COVID-19 Dashboard HERE, and an updated infographic is attached below that provides quick reference to the latest guidance on quarantining.
If you have any questions about these protocols, please contact Ms. Mary Devore, Clinic Aide, by calling 941-426-2050, ext. 602 or by emailing her at Mary.devore@imagineschools.org.
