Hello Imagine Families,
Join us as we celebrate our staff this week! The ISNP Booster Club has planned something each day to show appreciation and to say thank you to our teachers and staff for their dedication and commitment to the success of every ISNP student.
The Imagine West Florida Regional Office and the ISNP Leadership Team have planned to extend their thanks in various ways throughout the week. Parents and students, you are also invited to express your appreciation by sending notes, cards, and other gifts to teachers and staff.
This Friday, May 6, is an Early Release Day for all Upper Campus students. Students will be dismissed from school at 1:30 pm. If your child does not take ISNP bus transportation, please be sure you have made the necessary arrangements to pick him or her up during dismissal. No adult supervision will be available for students after dismissal. Thank you in advance for helping us ensure that early release goes well!
Thank you to everyone who gave so generously this past week during the 2022 Giving Challenge! ISNP K-12 raised $11,700 to assist us in obtaining educational resources for next school year. In addition to donating, several of our families, students, staff, and business partners gave extra effort and support by creating promotional videos and pushing our campaign through social media. We appreciate you very much!
FSA testing hits full swing this week. Please see the important information below. Also, mark your calendars for the ISNP Band & Choir Spring Concert being held on Tuesday, May 10, at 6:30 p.m. at Murdock Baptist Church in Port Charlotte. We hope to see you there.
Have a great week!

Re-Enrollment is Now Open!
|
|
It is time to re-register your child for the 2022-2023 school year. Each student's primary registering parent should have received an email from noreply@sarasotacountyschools.net . This email was sent by The Sarasota County School District and provides the parent a unique SNAPCODE in the form of a unique web address. Follow the instructions in the email to re-enroll your student(s). The entire process will take about 10 minutes. Check your spam or junk mail if you did not receive the email. Please complete the re-registration process promptly to ensure you hold a seat for your child for the 2022-2023 school year. We look forward to all students in grades 6-11 returning next year!
If you have not set up an account in the Family Access Portal, then you should receive your SNAPCODE via the U.S. Mail within the next few weeks. If you have any questions regarding re-registration, please contact Ms. Whitaker at Carrie.whitaker@imagineschools.org.

FSA Camps Are Available for Every Student!
|
|
The 2022 Florida State Assessment (FSA) season has arrived. Mr. Tony Graham has provided the schedule for this year, and you may access it here.
ISNP is providing before and after school camps for ALL students. The purpose of these camps is to offer a review of this year's material and to provide practice opportunities and test-taking strategies. The times and dates can be found in the Mark Your Calendar section of each weekly newsletter. Additionally, parents of students who scored a 2 or below on previous FSA exams were sent letters from our guidance department.
Help your child be successful by assisting us in strongly encouraging him or her to attend these camps. Please make sure your child eats a healthy dinner and gets plenty of sleep the night prior to the test, and have them eat a healthy breakfast and arrive to school on time the morning of the exam.
Please contact Mr. Graham at Tony.graham@imagineschools.org if you have questions about testing.

UPDATED March 2022
Protocols for Students and Staff with Exposure to COVID-19
Students and Employees who do not test positive for COVID-19 or develop symptoms are NOT required to quarantine, however:
- Parents or legal guardians of students who are known to have been in direct contact with an individual who received a positive diagnostic test for COVID-19 may choose one of the following options:
-
Allow their student to attend school, school-sponsored activities, or be on school property, without restrictions or disparate treatment, so long as the student remains asymptomatic; or
-
Quarantine the student for a period of time not to exceed five days from the date of last direct contact with an individual that is positive for COVID-19.
You may access the ISNP COVID-19 Dashboard HERE, and an updated infographic is attached below that provides quick reference to the latest guidance on quarantining.
If you have any questions about these protocols, please contact Ms. Mary Devore, Clinic Aide, by calling 941-426-2050, ext. 602 or by emailing her at Mary.devore@imagineschools.org.
