SEPTEMBER 2020
Friends,

I want to begin by thanking the volunteers who offer Imagine Well Being gatherings at no charge so everyone has access to yoga, mindfulness meditation workshops and classes, as well as the unique meditative hikes and forest soaking walks that we offer as we face stress and anxiety during these very challenging days.

All that we do is evidence-based. The research shows the mental, emotional, physical and soulful benefits that mindfulness meditation and supportive non-judgmental community bring to our health and to improving our relationship skills.

I do want to feature the Online Mindful Relationship Workshops that is listed below. It will be geared toward recognizing how COVID has impacted our relationships and give us some practical tools to help navigate these challenges and opportunities.

We look forward to seeing you and invite you to watch for some new outdoors nature and soul hikes as the weather permits.

Imagine Well Being is in the exciting process of becoming a non-profit for global reach! We welcome anyone who would consider helping with the web page, social media and marketing. Please contact me at the email below.

Peace and Hope moment by moment and breath by breath,

Cathy Norman

CREATIVE CORNER
Peace in pieces

Some days the peace
 is not in the pieces
of this broken mirror of mine

Some days the smudges
Are all the grudges
That vex me and make me so blind

The cleaning I try
With judgements I make
can never refract any light
My visions opaque
My heart starts to break
By God, I know I’m right!

It keeps me from you
From all that exists
My pride and anger rebuke
Help me to see
The mirror is me
Clarity is in how I Look

In the reflection
I see of myself
Not the one I want you to see
Is the filter my world
And all I survey
Comes into being for me

Love in the time of Corona

A tree that’s never had a hug
Grows strong and loves despite this
A man who’s never had a hug
His eyes grow dull and lifeless

It seems the trees
Have figured out
How to touch and hold their souls
They are there to show us every day
The lessons we’ve been told

Just because I’m not here
I love you just the same
Just because you can’t hear
My love for you won’t change

My love is written in the stars
In the tears you cry
My love, my dear
Just know I’m here
And love and grow and thrive
