Imagine autumn in the mountains...
cool mornings with coffee and a friendly cat on a big porch, a hearty breakfast with new friends in a Victorian dining room, a leisurely drive through orchards and brilliantly colored leaves, perhaps a stop at a waterfall or a vineyard, a stroll through the charming shops of Main Street, and a delicious dinner of seasonal fare at a restaurant steps from the inn.
Just imagine autumn in the mountains...

Hey there, I'm John
I became the owner of the Blue Ridge Inn one year ago. If we haven't met yet, I hope to make your acquaintance soon; if we have, well it's nice to see you again. Since early October 2021 we've welcomed 1700 guests through our doors, cooked just as many breakfasts and made a lot of new friends. If you're in the area, please stop in and have a look at some of the changes we've made. Hope to see this fall.

A big, beautiful space with soaring, beamed ceilings, original artwork, lounge area, co-working tables and outdoor patio, Mountain Mama’s features fresh fare daily from local farms and bakeries. We've partnered with Folk Collaborative of McCaysville, GA to offer the best and freshest pastries and baked goods. The coffee shop is open from 7:30am - 2pm, seven days a week.
Open to guests of the inn, locals and visitors to Blue Ridge, the convenient downtown location has plenty of parking in the lot just off West Main Street.
Built in 1890, the Blue Ridge Inn has reliably served as an anchor of genuine hospitality in downtown Blue Ridge. This new venture promises to share the same good vibes and community spirit with a wider circle.
Now open- come say hey!

OUR GUIDE TO THE PERFECT FALL WEEKEND IN BLUE RIDGE
|
Let's start by filling up on our delicious, Southern breakfast at 9am. We start every morning with fresh fruit, yogurt and a delicious homemade muffin. The main course might be biscuits and gravy, egg souffles, hashbrown casserole, french toast cups or fried eggs and ham. Rest assured it'll be delicious and fill you up for the big day ahead. Breakfast time is a great opportunity to meet other travelers staying at the inn, plan out the day, and compare stories of the night before.
We'll drive about 20 minutes north to McCaysville and visit the fantastic folks of Folk Collaborative, a beautiful orchard, bakery and apothecary. For an authentic look at the Appalachian ways that have been passed down through the generations, chat with Luke or Amanda about their "small slice of heaven nestled on a hillside down a little country road". |

With so many fun shops along Main Street, we're hesitant to mention just a few here. Some of our guests' favorites are Huck (great stuff for kids), Canoe (lovely gifts and things for women), Oar (awesome selection of stuff for guys), Vertigo Pinball (have a beer and play some pinball), Kalon (athletic and leisure wear for all body types), Blue Ridge Adventure Wear (for outdoor gear and great hats), Masseria (for delicious pizza) and The Cotton Company (for really fun gifts and fantastic owners).
Whew, let's read a book or take a little nap on the front porch. You've earned it, so enjoy some peace and quiet at the inn for a while before dinner. We've got a few big porches with lots of rocking chairs to take in the fall air. Put together a puzzle in the parlor, play chess in the library or a hand of cards in the kitchen. We also offer a selection of stamped Blue Ridge postcards for you to send notes to friends and family from your stay here. |

For a small little mountain town, we sure do have a lot of great restaurants to choose from. An embarrassment of riches really, not that we're complaining. Our guests always enjoy themselves at General Ledger, Whiskey & Water, Black Sheep, The Dogwood, Harvest on Main, Cucina Rustica, Chester's, Roe and so many more. Opening soon will be Grace, a new steakhouse. And really, this is just scratching the surface. We're happy to point you in the right direction, depending on what you're looking for, so don't hesitate to ask us for suggestions when you make your reservation with us.

We've pretty excited about our new lobby-coffee bar-lounge, so here's a little preview of the 34' x 15' mural created by local artist Moe Stephens. The 840 square foot space has ample room for hanging out in the lounge area, getting some work done on your laptop in the co-working space, or enjoying the breeze outside on the patio. Be sure to follow us on social for upcoming announcements about live music, featured artists, a book shop, rental opportunities and much more.
