Writing contest - grades 6 - 12!
Imagined Ink is an annual writing contest for youth in grades 6-12 in the FVRL district. Entries are read by a panel of judges, and prizes are awarded to winners in two age groups: grades 6-8 and grades 9-12. Enter September 1 through October 1.
Staff training day closure
All libraries and bookmobiles will be closed for FVRL's annual Staff Training Day on Thursday, September 28 . Many services available 24/7 on our website.

Growing readers across the district
You may have seen our "Grow A Reader! Read while you wait" bins in your community. This project places a box of books in locations where families with children might experience an extended wait. Each box has 15 - 20 books for families to enjoy while they wait.

Language Conversation Circles - Practice English, French, Spanish or Chinese in a comfortable setting. These are held at multiple locations.
