SUMMER OUTDOOR WORSHIP SCHEDULE:
Summer is coming soon and along with that is our great tradition of outdoor worship services with food and fellowship before. The scheduled dates this year are June 6, July 18 and August 15. These services will feature a meal and time of fellowship before and Culver's frozen custard afterwards.

Rummage Sale: The time is just around the corner for the Rummage Sale (proceeds to benefit FACC and the Immanuel LERT Team.) Help is needed to set up on this coming Saturday, as well as during the week and during the actual sale. Pastor Brooks, former pastor at Immanuel passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 in Lawrenceville, GA. Cards can be sent to:

Rev. Brooks served Immanuel from 1976-1981.
OFFICES CLOSED: All staff members will be at a special all day planning meeting off campus on Tuesday, June 4th, all offices will be closed.
GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENT: It is our tradition to announce all graduates associated with Immanuel in our first two June bulletins. If you have a student graduating from High School, College or another Jr. High that has been associated with Immanuel please call the church office (815-235-1993) so that they can be included in this recognition.
CONCORDIA SOCIETY: Concordia Society (Ladies Afternoon Group) will meet on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in the Fellowship Hall at 11:30 AM. The lunch will be catered by Vicki Mulder for $10.50. Hostesses are Rachel Halbin and Faith Worrall. Devotions "Genesis 12 "New Starts". Installation of President and Secretary, collection for the Joy bag and St. Louis Missionaries. Bobbie Edler will entertain us with the accordion.
FIDELES MEMBERS: Remember to bring your shoes for Tuesday's "Annual Picnic" meeting and tell the group what you are doing for the summer. Bring a dish to pass to supplement the chicken, ice cream and beverages being provided by Fideles.
VBS COMING SOON: This year our VBS theme is Sonrise National Park, VBS will take place from June 17-20 in the mornings with a big closing worship Thursday June 20 @ 6:30 PM. All children are welcome to attend this free event. As about 100 children on average attend this event we will need plenty of help, if you would like to help some or all of the days contact Amanda. Helpers must have completed 6th grade.
OLD GYM LIGHTS: With the change to newer light fixtures in the gym, we have 16 old light fixtures for sale. They are industrial/commercial light fixtures for indoor use. There are 4 each 120 volt, 250 watt fixtures at $ 30 each and 12 each 120 volt, 400 watt halogen metalarc fixtures at $ 40 each. All had working bulbs when removed. SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL "IT'S A COOL, COOL, SUMMER: We will not offer formal Sunday School in the summer. We will present a series of 3,2,1 Penguin movies (based on Proverbs) for those children whose parents attend a Sunday class. We need volunteers for each of the Sundays, there is a sign up sheet at the welcome center.
