Our Thanks for Your Continued Giving
We want to thank everyone who has been so generous in their continued support of Immanuel during these difficult times. We are very aware that due to the pandemic many families are under financial strain and we want to say please take care of your families and let us be a blessing to you. Others have stepped up their financial support to help during these difficult times and we want to thank them for their partnership in ministry. We continue to have folks mail in or drop off checks or send bank checks for their tithes and offerings as well as use automatic giving and give online through our website secure donation service. We appreciate your continued generosity for general support as well as special offerings during these difficult times.
Go to our website at ucc-immanuel.org for our secure online giving. Click button below for online donation. Thanks again for your generous support!

DID YOU KNOW IMMANUEL HAS A PRAYER CHAIN?
Immanuel UCC has had a long history of stalwart prayer warriors who stand ready to pray for you and yours when called upon. Requests are handled with grace and speed by the use of email. To submit a prayer chain request, contact our church Admin, Theresa Lough ([email protected]) &/or Pastor TJ ([email protected]).
If you’re interested in becoming one of Immanuel’s Prayer Warriors, submit your request via the same method.
Ephesians 6:18 - And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Donations Needed for VBS

NEEDED: VOLUNTEERS TO PROVIDE SANDWICHES OR SOUP FOR THE LUM HOMELESS SHELTER
Volunteers are needed to provide a meal of sandwiches or soup for the homeless shelter for the fourth Saturday of the month. Volunteers would provide the food (either sandwiches or soup for currently about 44 people) and deliver to the LUM homeless shelter between 8 and 8:30 on the day you volunteered to provide the meal. You are welcome to stay and help with serving but can also just drop the food off to the hands of the workers and volunteers and leave. If you would like to help but cannot deliver, I can arrange to help with that. Volunteers are still needed for May 28, July 23, August 2, October 27, November 26 or December 24.
Please consider assisting with this important mission and contact Sylvia Bechtel at [email protected] or cell phone 765-714-3715 with the date of when you would be willing to provide a meal or with any questions. It is always appreciated. Thanks you! Sylvia Bechtel

E-votional by Pastor TJ
Path Less Taken
The poet Robert Frost once spoke so eloquently about choosing the path less traveled, and how it wonderfully changed his life. It is a beautiful picture of the choices we have in life, and the paths we may take. The psalmist uses this very same imagery, painting a picture of our journey down the path of life. Choosing the way of truth is not drudgery or boredom; rather it is choosing the path of life, and in the end, we discover that it empowers and sets our hearts free.
(Verse of the week)
I have chosen the way of truth;
I have set my heart on your laws. . .
I run in the path of your commands,
You have set my heart free. (Psalm 119.30-32 selections)
(Prayer of the week)
Heavenly Father, help me to set my heart on your ways, and discover anew the joy of living in your purpose and plan. Let me find strength and power in your Spirit. Help me to allow your Word to take root in my heart and life and bear the fruit of a deep and abiding faith and a life that gives you honor and praise. May I live a blessed life and be a blessing to others, through your power and to your glory. Amen.
Open your heart to God’s amazing love!
-Pastor TJ
