USCIS New Fees Suspended!

Yesterday, September 29, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California granted a motion for a nationwide preliminary injunction and stay on the implementation of the USCIS fee increase. New fees and form versions associated with the Final Rule that would have gone into effect on October 2nd are now enjoined or suspended!

This is good news, but keep in mind the suspension is temporary. The lawsuit will continue its natural course and filing fees may be increased at some time in the future. For now, we can continue to pay the filing fees that have been in effect since 2016.
