MULTILINGUAL WEBSITES
One of the barriers Canadians may face to understand the COVID-19 pandemic is the amount of misinformation about it. It has created myths that circulate every day on the Internet and social media around the world. These myths cause potential harmful consequences for public health and decrease the effectiveness of communication.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has created a series of infographics with information debunking these myths.

To help newcomers easily access this information, we have published on our website the WHO links to multilingual websites in French ( French ) , العربية (Arabic ) , 中文 ( Chinese ) , русский ( Russia n) and Español ( Spanish )

This and other useful multilingual resources and fact sheets on COVID-19 can be found at  https://www.immigrationwaterlooregion.ca/covid19/ .
