Hello!
This month, as a community we celebrate Women’s History Month by recognizing the contributions of women as professionals, patients, researchers, advocates, parents and decision-makers. We're highlighting partners and organizations that champion women's health and inclusion in evidence-based immunization policy.
On February 24, 2026, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) announced its withdrawal as a liaison to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), citing concerns about the ACIP's shift away from scientific evidence-based immunization policy. ACOG vows to continue to engage with ACIP as a member of the public and by reviewing and updating its own recommendations.
Looking ahead, the ACIP - after cancelling their February meeting - is scheduled to meet March 18 - 19. This will be their first meeting since the overhaul of the childhood and adolescent immunization schedule. Meeting details are anticipated to be available soon. Public comment is open through March 12th, 2026.

Stay safe, healthy, and protect your community!
