In February, Health Imperatives announced the opening of Macy May’s Boutique in our Brockton office, a dignified, welcoming space where the people we serve can shop for free.
Macy May Piersiak, the boutique’s namesake, tragically passed away in 2024 in a motor vehicle accident. Her mother, Mary Beth, wanted a way to honor her daughter’s legacy and keep her spirit alive in a meaningful way.
Mary Beth and her friends started a clothing drive that blossomed into a movement. Thanks to their incredible generosity and vision, along with partners Habitat Clothes, Inspire Happy Jewelry, and many others, Health Imperatives was able to open a second boutique in April at our Hyannis location.
Macy May’s offers a vibrant collection of women and children’s clothing and accessories, which celebrates individuality and personal style.
For the women we serve who are working to rebuild their lives, this personal shopping experience means the world to them – inspiring confidence and boosting self-esteem.
Our goal is to open a boutique in each of our seven locations – five to go! That’s where you come in. We are accepting donations of new and gently used clothing and accessories at two locations:
Health Imperatives’ Brockton Office
942 West Chestnut Street, Brockton
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wave Medical Aesthetics
942 Great Plain Avenue, Needham
Tuesday though Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Financial donations are also appreciated and can be made via our new website.
