Pathways to Power:

Empowering Survivors to Reclaim their Independence

Survivors of sexual exploitation and human trafficking face enormous challenges in achieving stability. Our survivor-informed Pathways to Power program provides:

• Economic Empowerment: Paid internships and externships, career coaching, and mentorship to prepare survivors for sustainable employment.
• Financial Literacy: Savings-matching programs and financial education to help survivors build long-term security.
• Housing Assistance: Support for securing permanent, affordable housing to ensure they never have to return to “the life.”

Young Parents Program: Building Bright Futures

Every child deserves a safe and loving home. Through our Young Parents Program, we offer parents aged 22 and younger the tools and resources they need to create nurturing environments for their children.

• Home Visits: Tailored parenting education to help parents understand child development and care for their infants.
• Independent Living Skills: Support in finding jobs, housing, and even obtaining a driver’s license to build self-sufficiency.
• Resources: Connecting families to community programs like WIC and parenting support groups for long-term success.

Penelope's Place: Security for Survivors

Our Penelope's Place emergency domestic violence shelter provides safety, comfort and a path forward for survivors and their children.

• Safety and Support: A secure home offering crisis counseling, safety planning and support groups.
• Holistic Services: From financial literacy workshops to yoga and children's programming, we address the whole family's needs.
• Long-Term Stability: Assistance in securing affordable housing and accessing education and job opportunities.
