Dear Friends,
It has been a challenging year for all of us. For many of the 24,000 people we serve across Southeastern Massachusetts, it has been devastating. An orchestrated assault on those most impacted by inequality has resulted in the:
- Defunding of sexual and reproductive health care
- Detainment and deporting of friends and family
- Disruption of critical food benefits
- Demonization of the LGBTQIA+ community, especially those who are transgender.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of private foundations, corporations, and donors like you; and local and state government stretching their limited resources, we have been able to close funding gaps and continue to provide crucial programs and services, including:
- Health care
- Housing, shelter, counseling, and support for survivors of interpersonal violence and trafficking
- Harm reduction for people with substance use disorders
- Nutrition assistance for women, infants, and children
- Support for young parents, immigrants, and LGBTQIA+ youth
- Primary and psychiatric care for court-involved youth.
We are so thankful for you.
As we look ahead to 2026, there is much uncertainty and fear. But we are not backing down. We are driven by a deep responsibility to meet the growing, urgent need. Your gift will help us to provide life-changing, life-affirming, life-saving care to those whose health and well-being remains at risk.
As one of our case managers said recently, “What we do isn’t easy, but it’s powerful. We show up for women who have survived, who are rebuilding, and who deserve to be seen and supported.” Your contributions aren’t just funding – they are opportunity. “It’s the chance to continue changing lives, expanding our reach, and furthering the mission that drives all of us.”
We know that improving the health of low-income or vulnerable individuals and families is as important to you as it is to us.
Will you make a donation to help us ensure that people who have been disproportionately impacted by racism, sexism, trauma, and poverty can reclaim their power, and improve their quality of life?
If you have already contributed, thank you so much for your generosity.
With great appreciation and best wishes for a happy holiday season,
