Thank you to all who contributed to the success of Uncorked 2025! Whether you won a fabulous auction package, gave generously in the special appeal, took your chances on a raffle ticket, or spun the Wheel of Wine, YOU made a difference in the life of a child and their family. All proceeds from the event will be invested directly into our Relief Nursery Therapeutic Early Childhood Program and the prevention of child abuse and neglect in our community.

Over the past 18 years, Uncorked has raised over $6 million supporting Family Building Blocks’ mission, “Keeping Children Safe and Families Together.” Our community raised over $440,000 this year!

We hope you will join us for our 19 ^th annual Uncorked Revelry, May 29 and Uncorked Live, May 30 at Bryn Mawr Vineyards in 2026!

RIVERFRONT FAMILY FEST IS AUGUST 2

Save the date and join Family Building Blocks at Salem's Riverfront Park on August 2! Riverfront Family Fest is one of the largest child-friendly community events in Salem with nearly 4,000 parents and children each year. This health and safety resource fair is FREE to attend. With a range of family-friendly activities, Riverfront Park comes to life, providing a safe and fun place for families to spend time with each other and to build new relationships with other community members. LES SCHWAB DIAPER DRIVE FINAL RESULTS

The final count is in! This April, Mid-Willamette Valley Les Schwab Tire Centers hosted the 16th annual Diaper Drive benefiting children and families partnering with Family Building Blocks. Les Schwab, 25 local businesses and faith communities, and 11 schools collected a grand total of 101,549 diapers for Family Building Blocks.

Thank you to our community for keeping babies safe and dry with us - diapers are already on their way out the door to the children and families in our programs!

DORIS'S NEW PLACE - BUILDING IN PROGRESS

Progress continues on the much anticipated new home for Doris’s Place Relief Nursery for children and families in east Marion county. We are looking forward to a new space that will allow us to serve even more children and families! As you can see, construction continues, and we are hopeful the space will transform the community for years to come.

Family Building Blocks is deeply grateful for the support of our Canyon community and beyond joining with us to "Keep Children Safe and Families Together." Our campaign is 92% funded as we approach the finish line!

This is a unique opportunity to join a highly respected organization dedicated to "Keeping Children Safe and Families Together" across Marion and Polk counties.

The Director of Development will lead the organization's development efforts during a time of continued growth and community need. They will guide a dynamic team responsible for building meaningful relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation donors, overseeing fundraising campaigns and events, and sharing the powerful impact of Family Building Blocks' programs.
