DORIS'S PLACE LUNCHEON IN STAYTON

Thank you to everyone who attended our Doris's Place Luncheon at Foothills in Stayton. Close to 200 community members gathered together and enjoyed an afternoon of connection and community. Thank you donors, sponsors, speakers, volunteers, and everyone who showed up to make this luncheon a success. VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION WEEK

We took the opportunity to celebrate our volunteers this April during Volunteer Appreciation Week! Family Building Blocks is so happy to have volunteer support in our classrooms, on our board, at our specials events, and more.

Happy Volunteer Appreciation Week to all that dedicate your time, energy and resources to support our mission of 'Keeping Children Safe and Families Together'. Your partnership allows staff to provide more meaningful direct service to our families in the community. Each of our Family Building Blocks locations found special ways to celebrate the volunteers that walk through our doors every day.

LES SCHWAB DIAPER DRIVE

Throughout the month of April, Mid-Willamette Valley Les Schwab Tire Centers hosted the 16th annual April Diaper Drive benefiting children and families partnering with Family Building Blocks. 



Babies are born every day and the need for diapers is constant – with your support, we can help meet the need for families to have access to diapers. Les Schwab, local businesses, schools and FBB are partnering to meet this challenge with the goal of collecting over 100,000 diapers in 2025.

DORIS'S NEW PLACE - BUILDING IN PROGRESS

Last November, Family Building Blocks celebrated breaking ground in Stayton on a long-awaited, much anticipated new home for Doris’s Place Relief Nursery for children and families in east Marion county. We are looking forward to a new space that will allow us to serve even more children and families! As you can see, construction continues, and we are hopeful the space will transform the community for years to come. The doors are scheduled to open September 2025.

Family Building Blocks is deeply grateful for the support of our Canyon community and beyond joining with us to "Keep Children Safe and Families Together."
